Who ever said we are supposed to live life according to the fairy tales of society? Graduate college and land your dream job by age 22, meet the love of your life and get married by age 25, be financially stable making close to six figures by age 30 and live happily ever after.

Who are we kidding! This is not the reality for most of us. Many of us are doing good to graduate college, let alone by age 22. Sure, you can land a job at a company, working as a junior assistant to the assistant, of the assistant to your dream job. And when it comes to marrying the love or your life, let’s just say you’ll need to kiss a few frogs before you meet your prince. As far as finances are concerned, we all know the term living paycheck to paycheck all too well.

Let’s face it, life happens and we should stop holding ourselves to these unrealistic timelines. Instead, realize that you are in the right place at the right time by living life on your own time.
